In addition, a Person In Charge can be defined per Item Type.
Development Status Notifications Setup
On the Development Status Notifications Setup page, you can define for each development status to whom the e-mail should be sent and what the content of the e-mail should be.
To define the content of the e-mail, selecting the E-mail text field opens an editor where the text can be stored.
For each development status there is a new e-mail scenario, so that different sender e-mail addresses can be used for each development status.
To specify a link to the Business Central for the corresponding development status in an email, the following examples can be used:
For each link, the placeholders for server, instance and company name must then be adjusted
Via the pages Item Card and Item List it is possible to create an item with the action Create New Item.
After execution, the New Item No. page opens. Here the Item Type and a Version must be defined. Via the field Source Item No., an existing item can also be copied.
If the item was created, the New Item page opens. Additional information for the item can be set up here.
The Development Status field controls what information is visible. In addition, this status also controls in which role center the corresponding item is visible in the Item to Check stack.
Send Development Email
The report can be executed manually via the Global Search. However, there is also an option to run the report periodically via the job queue.
To set up periodic sending, a job queue entry must be created.
To do this, a job queue entry must be created for the 61571 - Send Emai development status report.
