Before you can send an SMS, some information is mandatory.
First, an SMS Account must be set up correctly, and at least the Default Scenario must be set.
SMS Receivers
All recipients for the SMS can be specified in the SMS recipient list. The maximum permitted quantity is determined by the provider.
Each mobile phone number entered in the recipient list receives the message from the SMS message lines. It should be noted that this can lead to several messages being sent at once, depending on the provider and the maximum message length.
At least one mobile phone number and the corresponding country code must be entered for sending.
Phone Prefix
If the country code does not yet exist, it can be created in the Phone Country Prefixes list. To do this, link the country code and phone prefix together.
On the SMS message page, the list can be opened via the "Show Phone Prefix" button or in the drill-down of the field.
SMS Message Lines
The content of the SMS can be entered in the SMS message lines.
If the maximum number of characters per SMS is exceeded, more than one SMS is sent to the recipient, depending on the provider.
The SMS can be sent after the message has been created and the recipients have been set up. Sending is done via the "Send SMS" button.
Sending SMS
If an SMS is sent, the appropriate account is selected from the SMS accounts based on the SMS message. A scenario is automatically defined and saved in the message when created.
Wenn aus einer Verkaufsrechnung eine SMS erstellt wird, erhält die Nachricht das dazugehörige Szenario.
When an SMS is created from a sales invoice, the message receives the associated scenario.

When SMS messages are successfully sent, the sent SMS is archived and deleted. Archived messages can be found on the Posted SMS Messages page.
If sending an SMS message fails, an entry is created on the SMS Error Log page. All unsent messages can be found here. A short message with the reason is also displayed.
An Error will be displayed if the SMS can not be sent to the provider. For more information about Web Messages, click here.
