The app Document and Posting Date Control provides 2 setup tables, where Document Types can be set-up
of which the Posting Date and/or Document Date shall be updated with the value of the current System Date or Work Date.

This setup table is for setting up the document types where the selected dates shall be updated, when posting the document.

Document Type
Specifies the document type for which this setup applies.
Document Date
Specifies if the document date should be changed.
Posting Date
Specifies if the posting date should be changed.
Shipment Date
Specifies if the shipment date should be changed.
Automatic Date Selection
Specifies what date should be used to change to.

Specifies if the date field should be validated.

From the searchbar the Auto. Update Date in Cards Setup and the Auto. Update Date when Posting Document Setup can be opened.
There the user can define which fields of the selected document type shall be updated with either the work date or the current system date.
